SLMA PAC Co-hosts Fundraiser for Congressman Joe Wilson

On Tuesday evening, SLMA PAC joined the South Carolina Forestry Coaliton and the National Alliance of Forest Owners PAC in hosting a reception for Congressman Joe Wilson of South Carolina. During the reception, Congressman Wilson highlighted his support for improving trucking regulations and other transportation issues that impact the forest products industry. 

Wilson emphasized the abundance of job openings compared to the number of qualified applicants in the US today. He plans to tackle the issue of qualified applicants and have more people employed in the future.
