SLMA Fundamentals of Leadership Program Recap

Last week kicked off the first class for the SLMA Fundamentals of Leadership Program in Jacksonville, FL. The program led by Dr. Dale Bracken of the National Assessment, hosted 12 of the most highly anticipated future leaders of the sawmill industry. 

In the first module of the program, participants learned how to identify their own preferential behaviors in management style, strengthen relationships with employees, and different approaches to navigate conflict and stress in all organizational settings. 

The leadership program participants will meet again in Raleigh, NC on January 16-17, 2020 for Module 2 of the certification.
