From SLMA's OSHA Counsel at Kilpatrick Townsend:
The OSHA Injury Tracking Application ("ITA") currently is accepting 2017 OSHA Form 300A injury and illness data. The deadline to submit 2017 OSHA Form 300A data is July 1, 2018
. The OSHA Injury Tracking Application and additional information regarding the electronic reporting requirement are available at: https://www.osha.gov/injuryreporting/index.html
OSHA recently announced that all employers who are covered by an OSHA-approved State Plan are required to submit their 2017 injury and illness data via the ITA, even if the applicable State Plan has not adopted a rule relating to electronic reporting. Employers covered under a State Plan must submit their data by July 1, 2018.
