Last week, SLMA members traveled to Capitol Hill to lobby their delegations on behalf of the lumber industry. SLMA members met with Representatives, Senators, and staff from more than 40 offices to discuss Farm Bill priorities, Environmental Issues, Trucking Capacity, Infrastructure and Liability. In addition to representing the industry on the Hill, on Tuesday evening attendees enjoyed the Dinner Cruise on the Potomac River.
If you were not able to make this trip, we hope to see you next year. The next D.C. Summit will be September 10th-12th, 2019 at the Liaison Capitol Hill Hotel.
