Michael Longoria

Over the course of more than thirty years in the automation and control systems industry, I have cultivated a deep expertise and leadership in managing and executing projects across a variety of sectors, including Oil and Gas, Food and Beverage, Wood Products, Pulp and Paper, and Municipal services. Since joining Gregory Consulting and Controls in 2022 as an I&A Engineering Manager, I have led the automation of control systems, guiding projects from their initial concept to final implementation. I've managed multimillion-dollar budgets and coordinated teams of 25-50 employees from multiple engineering disciplines. My efforts have significantly improved control, production, maintenance, and efficiency across these industries, demonstrating my capacity to tackle complex engineering challenges with innovative solutions.

Before my current role, I developed my skills as an Automation Engineer at Champion Technology Services, an Technical Services Manager at Custom Process Equipment, and an Automation Manager at API Control Systems Solutions. In these positions, I was responsible for developing and implementing various control systems strategies, conducting Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) studies, and overseeing project consultations and implementations for high-profile clients such as BHP, EnLink, BPX, and Anadarko. My technical knowledge and project management abilities were proven through my successful oversight of projects ranging from several hundred thousand to over a million dollars, highlighting my ability to deliver high-quality, efficient projects.
