Social Distancing Message from MHI
SOCIAL DISTANCING: MHI acknowledges that, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hotel continues to recommend that all guests maintain a distance of 6-feet from other guests and Hotel associates at all times ("Social Distancing"), and that Hotel has assigned MHI event space or proposed room sets for MHI consistent with this recommendation.
MHI has, however, determined that its event does not require Social Distancing in the contracted meeting or event space. MHI acknowledges and agrees to the following: (1) although MHI's event may not require Social Distancing, the number of people allowed in any contracted meeting space may not exceed what is permitted applicable by law; (2) MHI and its event attendees will abide by all applicable laws or regulations and any Hotel policies related to COVID-19; and (3) MHI is responsible for notifying each event attendee, prior to scheduled arrival date, of the physical layout of the contracted meeting space and that Social Distancing will not be possible in the contracted meeting space. MHI will indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Hotel and its owner and management company, and any of their officers, directors, agents, or employees, from and against any and all demands, claims, damages to persons or property, losses, and liabilities, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to MHI's decision to not account for Social Distancing in the contracted event space or the lack of Social Distancing in the contracted event space.
