Mission: To help create and maintain effective markets for member products
Role: To develop and evaluate plans and programs to ensure full representation of member products in the marketplace
Staff Liaison(s): Steve Rountree
Areas covered: Southern Pine Council, Hardwood Council, American Hardwood Export Council, Treater, SLMA Directory
Responsibilities include:
- Establish funding levels for marketing representation
- Represent the interests of SLMA membership effectively in industry coalitions
- Provide input to and oversight of marketing efforts
- Provide input in the development of SLMA marketing tools
- Evaluate the effectiveness and cost benefit of SLMA marketing efforts
- Other responsibilities as necessary
